Kenny B. Carter Jr., MD

After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, Kenny B. Carter Jr., MD continued his education at Baylor College of Medicine (located in Houston, TX).

He went on to complete his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin – Department of Otolaryngology located in Milwaukee, WI. During this residency, Dr. Carter not only practiced otolaryngology, but he focused specifically on head and neck surgery.

In 2012, Dr. Carter received his certification through the American Board of Otolaryngology. In addition, he has a long list of awards and honors throughout his medical schooling and beyond.

Even though Dr. Carter was raised in Baltimore, MD, Texas has been home since he moved here to attend the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Carter enjoys traveling, basketball, and exercising in his free time.

Dr. Keith E. Matheny, MD

Dr. Matheny started his university education with a B.A. in Biology at Baylor University (located in Waco, TX). Next, he went to Houston, TX, where he attended the University of Texas Medical School.

After completing an internship in general surgery, Dr. Matheny went on to do a residency in otolaryngology, focusing on head and neck surgery at Vanderbilt University – Bill Wilkerson Center for Otolaryngology.

In 2004, Dr. Matheny received his board certification through the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Over the years, Dr. Matheny has continued his involvement in many community organizations. He’s also earned awards and honors, including D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Dallas 13 times.

Dr. Matheny was born in Miami, FL. Then his family moved to Plano, TX, where he grew up. After completing his medical training, he moved his family back to Plano. He has a wife and two daughters and enjoys living in the area.

Ewen Y. Tseng, MD

After his undergraduate education in Houston, TX, at Rice University, Ewen Y. Tseng, MD, attended the Baylor College of Medicine. His training continued with a surgery internship at the University of Alabama and then an otolaryngology residency at the same university.

Dr. Tseng received his certification in 1998 through the American Board of Otolaryngology. He’s associated with multiple hospitals in both Plano and Frisco, Texas, and held many different staff positions over the years.

Dr. Tsend has three journal published papers and is also a speaker for different equipment and pharmaceutical companies. He has received many recognitions and awards through the years, including D Magazine’s “Best Doctors in Collin County” and “Best Doctors in Dallas.”

Additionally, Dr. Tsend has community affiliations with local school districts and advisory boards. He has been married to his wife since 1992, and they have two daughters. In his free time, Dr. Tsend enjoys history, traveling, and scuba diving.
